About the Founder
Dr. Isi Brennan (Formerly known as Isi Idemudia) is a Technology Delivery Manager at Accenture, where she is part of the Accenture AWS Practice. She is a recognized thought leader in the areas of Responsible AI, Fair AI, and data Architecture, Girls and Women in Technology, and inclusive growth for Women. Dr. Isi has over 10 years of experience in consulting, research, and advocacy on Technology and Women's issues. She has worked with governments, and civil society organizations to empower more than 10,000 Girls on how to code.
Dr. Isi holds a Ph.D. in Technology Management from the University of Port Harcourt. She is a Member of the IEEE community. She has been featured in publications such as the CIO Magazine, AfroTech, and Diversity Inc.
Dr. Isi is passionate about using her expertise to help create more fair AI systems and a just world as we enter into the fourth industrial revolution. She believes that businesses have a critical role to play in addressing the unintended consequences of AI systems as is seen in her published scientific work on AI and ethics. https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/10293367
Dr. Isi is a strong advocate for gender equality and women's empowerment in technology. She believes that women are essential to achieving sustainable technology development.
Dr. Isi is a visionary leader who is committed to making a difference in the world. She is a role model for women and girls everywhere. She is an inspiration to all who believe that a better world is possible.
She is the best-selling author of Out of Africa and Into the Cloud, Girls Can Code Too, where she aims to empower the next generation of Female coders. She Lives in Atlanta, GA, USA with her Husband Stuart, and two lovely Daughters, Ivana and Shelomi.
